Dr. Jay Um
Dr. Jay earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with Honors in Esthetic Dentistry from the NYU College of Dentistry and furthered his training by completing the the Periodontics Preceptorship at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In addition to practicing dentistry, he is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry in the Department of Urgent Care at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Dr. Jay’s goal is to provide his patients with the latest, innovative technologies and progressive treatments, which is why you can often find him attending dental conferences around the world and learning from leading dental experts and innovators.
He is a member of The American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also an Implant Diplomate certified by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and a Moderate Sedation Evaluator as part of Anesthesia Unit of Dental Board of California.
Dr. Mina Um
Dr. Mina graduated at the top of her class from NYU College of Dentistry where in addition to treating her patients at the regular dental clinic, she worked at the highly selective Faculty Practice in Manhattan. As an avid outreach advocate, she has donated her time to the Henry Schein Global Outreach Program to provide emergency and restorative dental care to Tibetan residents in Pokhara, Nepal.
Dr. Mina was formerly a professional violinist who graduated from The Juilliard School. Her performances around the world and at venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center have been critically acclaimed by multiple news outlets including The New York Times. She has also collaborated with pop artists such as Nicki Minaj and appeared on Good Morning America and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
Dr. Mina is certified in Invisalign and specializes in cosmetic dentistry and full mouth reconstruction. Following her advanced training in veneer and crown integration, she has practiced at the prestigious Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry in New York. She is a member of The American Dental Association and California Dental Association. Dr. Mina is also certified in Botox by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
